Helpful staff, great trip options, convenient location outside tourist area, easy access to metro and sightseeing areas.

For us it was ideal.

The location is prime. It'll only be better once they open the new metro line - the station is 3 minutes away. Clean!

The staff speaks absolutely no English. Pretty standard for China, but this pretends to be a 4-stars hotel. If you pay extra for a business room with a computer you'll have to pay even more for a power cable for it... which should almost classify as a scam-technique.

We slept on the front site. There was a lot of traffic.

The hotel provides excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail in their services. The staff is helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist guests despite language barriers. Additionally, the convenient location allows for easy access to popular sightseeing areas and public transportation. The rooms, with their antique Chinese furniture, provide a unique and charming atmosphere that adds a touch of authenticity to the stay.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Friendly staff, they tried to help you although they had som struggles with their english. Nice with free internet (wired). I liked the surroundings

The room was quite dirty, eg on the walls. We asked a cleaning lady to clean our bathroom floor which was dirty at first, and she came instantly. The hotel was quite far from the metro station, maybe 15-20 minutes of walking. Also the standard is quite low, maybe 2 stars...

The location is really good! About 15-20 minutes walking to the Forbidden City, 5-7 minutes to HouHai and 10-15 minutes to the nearest Subway station. There are some restaurants and food stores nearby including "7 eleven" 24-hours store. Досить зручне розміщення. Близько 15-20 хвилин пішки до Забороненого міста, 5-7 хвилин до озера ХоуХай та 10-15 хвилин до найближчої станції метро. Також є декілька ресторанів та магазинів з їжею неподалік готелю, включаючи цілодобовий магазин "7 eleven".

Staff does not speak English but understands something. Walls and ceiling in the room were not clean and there were spots from killed mosquitoes. There was a problem with computer and Internet was not working but they fixed it in 15 minutes. Internet worked only one day out of three... After taking shower bathroom and toilet was flooded for some time and it took some time for draining. There was no personal safe in room. Персонал не говорить англійською, але дещо розуміє. Стіни і стеля в кімнаті не були чисті та були плями від убитих комарів. Були деякі проблеми з комп'ютером та не було інтернету, але вони все виправили протягом 15 хвилин. Інтернет працював тільки один день з трьох... Після прийняття душу ванна кімнаті і туалет були затоплений протягом деякого часу, і було потрібно якийсь час для висихання. Не було сейфа в номері.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff, although not fluent in English, were helpful whenever possible.

Staff here didnt speak a huge amount of english but helped whenever/wherever possible, beds were abit hard but that was my only complaint. We used there trip to jingshanglin great wall which was excellent and not too over priced. I put the location as excellent as its outside of the tourist trap of beijing houtongs but very easy to catch the metro in to the sight seeing areas, within walking distance of most depending on your attitude to walking. Would recommend anyone who doesnt mind a slightly hard bed for a cheap price.

Just the hard beds, thats all cant complain.

The hotel offers great value for money. the staff was really friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. the location was perfect to explore the city's main attractions on foot or by subway, and the hotel provided a useful shuttle service to the airport. the room was clean and tidy, and we appreciated the amenities offered like the free water bottles and toiletries.

The room was quite basic and could have used a bit more attention to details. the bed was a bit too hard for our liking, and we found the noise from the street and the other rooms to be a bit too loud.

We had 3 Rooms. The first one the internet did not work and was smelling bad. The second was smelling very bad in all the rooms the airco was fixed on 25 degrees. It was not possible to change it. Under the bed (we dropped something) was dust and other material from 2 or 3 year.

Not the nicest hotel, certainly, but great value for money, very good location (a block from the Hutong), and though the staff didn't speak much English, they did try and were very friendly. Wifi in the hotel lobby.

The location was good. City centre, although you still had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest subway station.

We booked a non-smoking room and I honestly think we had one, but I think the cleaning lady smoked her ass off while cleaning our room right before we arrived (and forgot to open a window). Staff speaks little English and the small tour operator's office at the hotel desk did only speak English every other day.....(different personnel). We are not to picky though, so our stay was okay.

Reason I stayed here due to location nearest to airport express train station. So, easier to reach train when you have checkin at airport early in the morning. Have many hotel nearest station but this budget lower yhan another if you booking from this site.

The location is very good and the communication both with the city centre, the mtr stations and nearby touritst attractions is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the rooms were not clean, the walls were dirty, the towels were used-out, the sheets didn't look very fresh when we checked in. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned carefully, I.E. the washbasin was dirty until we finally cleaned it by ourselves. There's an air-con, but the smell comming out is not pleasant. There's a big sign at the reception desk which forbids prostitution, gambling and so on, but we saw some odd- looking women leaving the rooms in the evening ;)
